This year saw the introduction of Any Other Dairy Breed classes at the Yorkshire Show
Huge congratulations to Jack Wilson and Anya Clough on winning both the Any other dairy breed heifer and the overall championship on Wednesday 9th July with Kedar Aldo Snogging VG87 judged by Iwan Thomas.
Competing in the interbreed the following day she went on to secure the Reserve title in the Interbreed heifer in milk championship, judged by Meurig James. Then in the overall interbreed finished hon mention, a heifer admired by the judge as a great example of her breed with a great future ahead of her.
Hopefully we’ll see more Brown Swiss at future Great Yorkshire Shows competing in the Any Other Dairy Breed classes.
